Based out of Las Cruces, New Mexico, we are a small graphic design business which focuses on providing services to educational professionals and related industries, as well as small businesses.
Owner and Lead Designer Hannah M. Treder is currently pursuing her MFA in Graphic Design at New Mexico State University. She received her BA in Art Education from the University of New Mexico, with Honors, in 2009. Following graduation she worked at the Alamo Navajo Community School as an Art Educator for secondary students from 2009-2015.
Treder left the public education profession in 2015 in order to begin to repair the educational system. Her reasoning for this choice is based on her understanding that the professional responsibilities of the professional educator demands complete focus on the many tasks required to create an effective learning environment. However, the reform necessary to create a system which truly serves the experience of education also demands complete focus. So, it is with the ultimate goal of re-entering the profession of education that she begins to mend the system through design. Identifying graphic design as a constructive approach to creating patches to the educational system, her focus is on developing access to information and resources necessary to move towards democratic change in the most transparent and user-friendly method.
One of her major projects is to support advocacy for a renaissance of the integrity and sustainability of the profession of teacher/educator. At present many educators can equate their work day to the experience of indentured servant. While the pay is comfortable, the actual work load is all-consuming. Collaborating with educators to provide a platform for data presentation in making the case for industry standards for teacher retention and sustainability of those in the profession, she seeks reflect on the current exodus of many professional educators from the field and provide multiple solutions.
